The purpose of the Cambridge Swedish Festival is to preserve and share the Swedish heritage of Isanti County and the surrounding area. This includes, but is not limited to, items such as:

  • Art
  • Crafts
  • Dancing
  • Food
  • Genealogy
  • History
  • Language
  • Music

A variety of events will feature Swedish folk music, a Swedish church service, Swedish children’s songs and activities, traditional Swedish foods, raising the Majstång (Midsummer pole), and discussions of topics of interest to Swedish-Americans.

The goals of the Cambridge Swedish Festival are to raise awareness of Swedish culture and Swedish heritage and to strengthen connections between Sweden and Swedish Americans by sharing experiences and information
